Riyadh Metro Offline Privacy Policy

Riyadh Metro Offline is provided independently by RoarApps. The journey planner, metro network, route data, fares, service times and maps are bundled with the app and can be used without an internet connection. No account or sign-in is required.
Independent app and government information sources
Riyadh Metro Offline is an independent app. It does not represent or have any affiliation with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City or any Saudi government entity.
Metro lines, stations, fares and network information are based on publicly available information from the RCRC public transport project and RCRC Open Data — Riyadh Metro stations. Service information may change; verify current details with these government sources or the Darb app before travel.
Information stored on your device
Your language and appearance choices, Home and Work stations, recent journeys, review-prompt counters and other app preferences are stored locally on your device. RoarApps does not receive your saved stations or recent journeys through the journey-planning feature. Removing the app normally removes this local information.
Analytics and crash reporting
When an internet connection is available, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand general feature usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes. Analytics events use stable internal station identifiers rather than station names. These services may process app interactions, device or installation identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, crash logs, performance data and other diagnostics.
Advertising and consent
The app uses Google Mobile Ads to display adaptive banner advertisements and Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and manage consent where required. Google may process advertising identifiers, device identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, app interactions, diagnostics and advertising data. Whether ads are personalized depends on your region, device settings and consent choices.
On iOS, the app may also ask for permission under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. You can decline that permission and still use the journey planner. Where available, you can revisit consent choices using Privacy choices in the app’s Settings screen. You can also limit advertising identifiers through your device privacy settings.
Sharing, sale and retention
RoarApps does not sell personal information. Data processed by Google is handled under Google’s service terms and retention settings. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Children and security
Riyadh Metro Offline is a general-audience transport utility and is not directed to children. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes and contact
